MINISTRIES: INTERNATIONAL CHRISTIAN SISTERHOOD (ICS)

The International Christian Sisterhood (ICS) women’s ministry under the leadership and direction of Elder Karen Bernard is a vehicle by which women can obtain excellence through education, networking, mentoring and accountability. Also known as the International Christian Sisterhood (ICS), women assist each other by maximizing and submitting their talents and resources in accordance with God’s divine order to meet the needs of family, community and self. They come together to be inspired and empowered through prayer meetings, conferences, fellowships and a surrendering to the Lordship of Jesus Christ. Women are elevated above diversity and knit together by a common bond of vision, purpose and goodwill.

Future Endeavors

In association with the International Christian Sisterhood (ICS) and the International Christian Brotherhood (ICB) will be the Rite of Passage Program. Still in its developmental stages, this initiative is a discipleship/mentoring program tailored for life preparation. Young men and women at the age of 13 will participate in a three-year program with a focus on spiritual life and natural life, etiquette and finances — essentials that are missing from our school system. This curriculum-structured program prepares them for the real world.

The three-year training consists of:

Basic Knowledge of God and faith in Jesus Christ
Knowledge of the faith — how to pray, read and understand the Bible
How to communicate their faith to others
What womanhood is all about — the acceptance of responsibility, character building, attitude, integrity, effective communication and the quest for knowledge
At the end of the three-year discipleship/mentor program, our children will be presented to the world fashioned and shaped under the anointing of Jesus Christ.
